our impact

Our proven track record of reducing emotional distress and increasing young people’s use of positive coping strategies means we are confident our work makes a significant positive impact in the lives of the young people we work with.

-the number of young people supported so far this academic year

(Sept 2024 - March 2025)

-the average reduction in emotional distress of the students who have received 1:1 support (measured by The Young Persons Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation; YP-CORE)

of those who have attended the Wellbeing Groups have seen a “meaningful improvement in their wellbeing” (measured by the Warwick Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale, WEMWBS)

felt: - less stressed or anxious ; - that they had ideas to help them cope; - more confident; - more able to work through problems; at the end of their 1:1 support.

Our student and teacher feedback also demonstrates significant improvements in a range of measures such as young people’s levels of anger and anxiety, motivation and concentration, their ability to stay ‘on task’ in lessons and the amount of resilience they display.
